Terms of Use

These terms describe the current Gates of Viridia browser beta developed by Fablethorn Games.

The beta

The game is in active development. Features, balance, rewards and availability may change. We may fix bugs, update content, pause the service or retire a feature. We work to preserve progress, but cannot promise uninterrupted service or that beta data will never need correction.

Your account and wallet

Your wallet signs a message to access your game account. Keep control of your wallet and review the domain shown in the signing request. You are responsible for activity made through a wallet you control. Never share your seed phrase or private key with anyone claiming to represent the game.

Fair play

Do not exploit bugs, automate gameplay in a way that harms the service or other players, interfere with accounts or infrastructure, or manipulate rankings and rewards. We may restrict access, correct affected results or suspend an account when reasonably necessary to address abuse or protect the game.

Content and ownership

Gates of Viridia, its artwork, writing, software and branding are owned by or licensed to Fablethorn Games. Playing the game does not transfer those rights to you. You may share ordinary screenshots and gameplay commentary, but may not present official assets or communications as your own.

Tokens and blockchain features

The beta is playable without buying $VIRID. Optional token-based in-game purchases are planned and are not currently available. A wallet connection or website visit does not require a token transaction. If blockchain features are introduced later, their specific terms and risks will be explained before use. Crypto-assets can lose value, and nothing on this site promises a financial return.

Availability and changes

We may update these terms as the game develops. Important changes will be posted on this site. If a feature requires a new agreement, we will show that agreement before the feature is used. If you do not agree with an updated version, stop using the service.
